Physiotherapy section at the Pimpri Chinchwad Apang Mitra Mandal

A physiotherapy section was set up by FIDA for handicapped children at the Pimpri Chinchwad Apang Mitra Mandal. This is a residential school which has been working for the welfare of handicapped kids over the last 20 years. Various instruments like wheel walkers, electronic walkers, wheel chairs, crutches, electronic and manual vibrators, weights, dumbbells and balls worth Rs 72,200/- were installed at the school.

Mid day meals for slum children

FIDA sponsored a mid day meal for around 50 slum children, for a year at the “Utkarsh Apang Sanstha” at Bhor involved in the rehabilitation of handicapped adults as also education of slum children. The main objective was to increase the retention rate at these educational centers and to motivate kids to attend school regularly.
