Objectives

Education

Promote early childhood learning, raise awareness about the importance of education, improving education access, quality, and retention rates.
Undertake capacity building activities through primary, secondary schools and colleges in the area of operation; skill up gradation, health services, sanitation programmes, training of school teachers.
Mobilizing and managing resources for implementation of quality education programmes; to improve the infrastructural facilities in schools and colleges, providing school supplies, school rehabilitation, etc.; to undertake non formal education programmes suited to the needs of adults and women in particular.
To promote attitudinal changes like greater gender equality, self-reliance and environmental sensitivity; to promote art, culture and sports in the area of operation.

To make available quality health care services to rural communities; develop community-based structures and self-sustaining village health activities like improved sanitation.
To expand access, improve quality and control costs of healthcare services through the development of a regional support network ; harness existing community resources in order to develop an effective health system ; organize regular health camps in the area of operation.

Act as catalyst for equitable economic and social development; facilitate the creation of economic opportunities; promote thrift and savings amongst the villages and establish linkages with micro finance organizations for economic activities.
To strengthen existing community organizations; mobilize funds from formal financial institutions to meet the credit needs; promote public-private partnerships for economic development.
Creation of managerial structures and processes to ensure sustainability of economic enterprises.

Reinforce and expand participation of other NGOs and Government / Semi government organizations for more effective service delivery mechanisms.
Promote the participation of society in education and promote political will for partnership building between Government and Non Governmental organizations.
Establish links and network with existing women institutions and other non-governmental organizations (NGOs)
